No. KIDO is an independent, non-governmental, non-political organization. It works in cooperation with local authorities and other stakeholders but operates under Islamic values and community leadership.

KIDO receives funding from Zakat, Sadaqa, local donations, Ramadan contributions, and partnerships with donors, NGOs, and Islamic charities. The organization also plans to develop income-generating projects (like small farming and vocational enterprises) to sustain its operations.

KIDO provides free education, school materials, meals, clothing, and regular home follow-ups for orphans. The organization also offers Quran and moral lessons, ensuring that orphans grow with dignity, knowledge, and Islamic values.

KIDO operates under a Board of Trustees and Community Advisory Committee that oversee all activities.
We maintain:
- Annual financial audits.
- Public reporting of major donations and distributions.
- Clear records of Zakat and Sadaqa use.
